United States of America – Snowstorm

15 mars, 2017

USPS asks us to inform the designated operators of UPU member countries that a major snowstorm has been severely impacting its operations in the Mid-Atlantic and North-Eastern areas of the United States since Tuesday, 14 March 2017.

The bad weather has resulted in thousands of flight cancellations and delays and road closures, and is leading to problems with mail transportation and inbound and outbound processing operations at the New York JFK ISC.

USPS thanks all designated operators for their understanding; it will update designated operators via EmIS once the situation has returned to normal.
